Nicole and Lisa came to visit!!

So Nicole and Lisa drove down to New Jersey to hang out over the summer. We played some mini-golf and went to diners and all that fun stuff. I hope they had fun, because I felt like I was a bad host. Hopefully they'll come back to Jersey again, but everything is more fun when we live together in Boston.

Okay so I've been hanging out with Brian, Bobby, Erin, Justin, and Chree in the Number 12 Looks Like You's studio lately and its been a blast. These are just some pictures of us fucking around, and there are more to come from Erin's camera. woot woot.

So the first night of Springfest was last night and the event went sooooo well. Caitlin, Scott, Jason and I took Jim, Mike, and Chris around the two cafeterias on campus for an hour and a half on Monday afternoon and they did some teasers to get the kids excited for the show. Then we took them out to dinner at Applebee's (request of Jim since November haha). There was a really good turn out for the show and their act was so completely awesome.

Alright. So. Lisa has been getting her hair professionally dyed since she was in 6th grade. She didn't have enough time in her appointment today to get it done when she got it cut, so she bought one of the boxes you use at home for the first time, and decided she trusted me to do it even though I had never dyed anyone's hair before. Lisa decided to sit on the edge of the tub with her feet out of the tub, and I stood in the tub when I poured the dye on so that anything that dripped would fall in the tub. The dying went well and when I was done, I realized there was some dye on my foot and turned the water on to rinse it off. I just expected the water to come out of the spout, but no, the shower was on and it was too late. I turned the freaking shower on myself. I got soaked and it was hilarious. We were immobilized by laughter for long enough for Caitlin to get her camera and document it haha. So then Lisa (with the dye in her hair) and I (in my soaking wet clothes) decided to have a dance party in my room to Somebody Told Me by the Killers and Love Shack by the B-52s. We went all out. Good times. You guys missed out.

So Lisa volunteers at a homeless shelter tutoring children, and they gave her 4 free tickets to the Celtics game tonight in appreciation. She took Lizzie, Nicole and I and it was a great time. They happened to be playing the New Jersey Nets, too. The Celtics won 110 to 89, so it wasn't very exciting in that respect, but there were a lot of cool plays. Yeah, I'm a basketball loser. Then on the way back, the first T that came was an E line so we got on, as well as all the other people that were at the game. It was sooo packed, but it was hilarious. Lisa almost didn't make it, but someone was nice enough to get off so she could come back with us. Yeah, it was good times.

Lisa, Nicole and I went to visit Lizzie's family with her on Cape Cod this weekend. Her house used to be an Inn in the 1800's so it was the most amazing house I've ever seen and I'm wicked jealous. Her mom made a rediculously delicious Italian dinner for us and it was a great time. We went to the beach to take pictures of the beautiful view of Martha's Vineyard and the snow. Lizzie and her twin sister Abbey also showed us around their town. Good times.

So on Saturday, a bunch of us (including Gillian, Patrick, Nicole, Akeem and I) went bowling. We did a lot of walking and a lot of waiting before that bowling, but it was totally worth it because we had a lot of fun. After that, Nicole, Lisa and I went to our friends Jaime and Lizzie's apartment and had a great night. Oh man, it was so much fun, and you'll be able to see from the pictures

So the 7th was my birthday and I turned the big 2-0. Gillian came up to visit me and brought some awesome presents and some good times. Nicole made me pancakes for breakfast because she is the best roommate ever. We went to Bennigan's for dinner, had some cake with a bunch of people at my place, and played some hardcore Cranium haha. My wonderful friends got me this awesome jewelry box that I wanted and it couldn't have been a better birthday. I didn't take that many pictures on my actual birthday, but look at the next entry, because those pictures are great.
