Winter Break

I considered making a new fotopage, because over this break there have been significant changes made in my life (those of you who really know me, know what they are). But I decided that I can't deny that my life until this point didn't happen, so I'm going to appreciate those times for what they are and move on. On that note, here are a few picture from Christmas break. I didn't take as many as usual.

So Nicole and I really wanted to play cards with Lisa and Caitlin last night, but they were being bums and were taking FOREVER to be ready to play. So Nicole and I got impatient and started banging on the wall in the kitchen (which is also a wall their room) hoping it would get them annoyed and out of their room to yell at us, and then we'd rope them into playing cards. Our plan failed. So we went into our room and decided that Lisa and Caitlin were exiled. We put a chair in front of our door so they couldn't get in, and built a fort with some blankets, chairs, and our bunk beds. It ended up being a really cool fort because we had Nicole's Christmas lights for lighting, a window to let a little air in, and even some vitamins. hahaha. So we realized that it wasn't fun if Caitlin and Lisa didn't want to get in our room. So we went into theirs and stole all of Lisa's pillows. They proceeded to get umbrellas as swords and started spraying Oust through the little crack they could open the door. So we had our fun, eventually played cards, and went to sleep. But Lisa and Caitlin stayed up until 2:30 for Nicole and I to fall asleep and made a wall of tape outside our door that Nicole found at 3:00 am when she needed to use the bathroom. It was wicked funny. So we like it and decided to decorate it with candy canes and Christmas ornaments.  haha goooooood times

So my cousins' children are the freaking cutest kids ever in life. Brian and Becky's son Thomas turned 2 recently and Mike and Aimee's daughter Alexis turned 3 and their son Cooper turned 1, so we had a big family birthday bash full of lots of little children. It was craziness. But I love those kids to death so it made me happy.
PS Alexis has a Little Mermaid poster hanging in her room, so I know Mike and Aimee are raising her well.

Alright, so this past weekend I went to visit Andrea at Dalhousie University. It was the greatest time ever in life. I can't tell you how much fun I had. Her college is beautiful and all of her friends are super nice. haha Can you tell how much I loved it there? Anyways, you'd think Canada would know how to deal with snow, but apparently it hasn't snowed in Nova Scotia in November for 50 years or something, so when it snowed on Saturday night everyone freaked out. The airport closed so my flight back to Boston on Sunday was canceled and everyone in the house had gotten all nice and fancy to go to this club/bar place and no taxis were running to take us there so it was sad. But it didn't stop the fun AND I got to stay for an extra day haha. I'll just fill you in on two highlights of the weekend here: On Friday night, Andrea got really drunk and put on this REDICULOUS outfit...and developed an alter ego named Victoria. If she had her sunglasses on she would only respond to Victoria. Then on Saturday night she got drunk again...and proceeded to take off all her clothes in the hallway and throw them down the stairs....Thank God no one was around to see it, except me with the camera hahah So yeah. Best Weekend Ever.

Alright, so I obviously wasn't at Guitar Center on Halloween, but I was told about all the guys dressing up in old school marching band uniforms. Chris finally sent me the pictures and they make me soo happy its insane. So I thought I'd share them with all of you. Oh and btw, the picture of Brian is him doing the job that I did all summer...so thats where I stood...for hours upon end....but I have to admit I had a lot of fun

So I went to this conference called the National Association of Campus Activities with the student programming board I'm involved with on campus called the Council for Univeristy Programming. Its this weekend long retreat thing where you can watch showcases of musicians, magicians, hypnotists, comedians, and so on that you can book on campus. Except Northeastern was the biggest school there and we had a lot more money than everyone else....meaning we don't have to book that shitty talent and can afford acts like Busta Rhymes and Lewis Black..haha anyways everyone hated us. But we had a really fun weekend. And I met Mr. Belding...except he was totally buying young girls drink at the bar of the hotel and likes to grab girls asses...but he's Mr. Belding!

So yeah, Nicole and I went on down to Copley Square on Election night to support Kerry to no avail. Lets not get into that right now. We all know that I really went down there to hear Bon Jovi play. But I didn't even get to hear that either so my night was a bust. Stupid Sheryl Criow...It's good knowing that I was back in the same area has Bon Jovi though haha I need a life. Anyways, Nicole and I had a good time nonetheless.

Alright, so I know I'm not supposed to like the Red Sox, but I went to a game with Nicole, Lisa, and Caitlin and I had a great time! We were on the field to the right of home plate. Rediculously close. It was awesome. Boston lost, but it was a close game and it was very exciting. Moral of the story: Red Sox games are fun.
